Hybrid triticale

With 30 years of experience in the production of hybrid rye seed, the company is interested in hybrid triticale, the first trials of which started in 2012. Triticale certified seeds are produced in the ‘Deux-Sèvres’ département, close to Villefollet station.

The ‘Deux Sèvres’ region has numerous advantages for the production of seeds of this straw cereal:

• Completely favourable soil and climatic conditions
• Skilled farmers equipped with irrigation 
• Possibility of early harvesting, which allows processing and shipment of the seeds to Germany for mid-August.
